Position Summary:
The Catering Operations & Sales Manager is responsible for driving event sales and overseeing the planning and execution of weddings, corporate functions, and private events. This role combines proactive sales development with hands-on operational coordination to ensure seamless, high-quality guest experiences from initial inquiry through event completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage catering and event sales for weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events
- Respond to inquiries, conduct venue tours, and create customized proposals and contracts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners
- Coordinate all event logistics, including timelines, menus, staffing, and floor plans
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure flawless event execution
- Oversee on-site operations during events to ensure service standards and client expectations are met
- Manage event budgets, pricing strategies, and cost controls to maximize profitability
- Track sales performance, maintain CRM records, and report on revenue goals and forecasts
- Support marketing efforts, including outreach, partnerships, and promotional initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in catering sales, event management, or hospitality operations
- Proven ability to generate sales and manage high-volume or upscale events
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service abilities
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
- Experience with event management systems and standard business software
