Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Partner to lead our full-service, family-style restaurant. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about hospitality, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Managing Partner will be the face of the restaurant, actively engaging with guests and staff, driving revenues, managing costs, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.



Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Visibility:

  • Be a hands-on leader, consistently present and visible in the restaurant during peak hours.
  • Act as a role model for the team, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and a guest-first mindset.


Team Development & Training:

  • Continuously train, coach, and mentor staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide development opportunities for team members to grow within the organization.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.


Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, labor, and other operational costs to meet financial targets.
  • Implement and maintain systems to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.


Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and increase guest traffic.
  • Analyze sales trends and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and promote special events, offers, and campaigns.


Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and operational policies.


Conflict Resolution & Tough Conversations:

  • Address performance issues and conflicts in a professional, constructive manner.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to team members and hold them accountable for results.
  • Foster a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of performance and behavior.


Guest Experience:

  • Ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience by maintaining high service and food quality standards.
  • Actively engage with guests to gather feedback and address concerns promptly.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Managing Partner, Director of Operations role in a full-service restaurant of 5+ years
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and team leadership.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and providing constructive feedback.
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and financial reporting tools.
