Greater Miami Area


We are conducting a confidential search for a Director of Operations to oversee a multi-unit restaurant portfolio in the Greater Miami area. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving consistency, strengthening leadership teams, and ensuring each location delivers a high-level guest experience while meeting financial expectations.


This position requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on. You will be expected to spend meaningful time in the field, working alongside operators, reinforcing standards, and identifying opportunities to improve performance.


Position Overview


The Director of Operations will partner closely with senior leadership to execute the company’s operational strategy across all locations. This individual will be responsible for building strong management teams, maintaining operational consistency, and improving overall business performance.


Success in this role comes from the ability to balance guest experience, team development, and financial results without losing focus on any one area.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations
  • Ensure consistent execution of service, food quality, and cleanliness standards
  • Develop, coach, and hold General Managers accountable for performance
  • Implement and refine operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Drive sales growth through strong execution and local market awareness
  • Monitor and manage key financial metrics, including labor, cost of goods, and profitability
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth, and operational improvements
  • Support recruiting, training, and retention efforts across all locations


Leadership Focus


  • Build and maintain a strong, accountable leadership bench
  • Foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and consistency
  • Maintain regular communication with unit-level leadership teams
  • Be present in the business, providing real-time coaching and support


Qualifications


  • 10+ years of restaurant or hospitality experience
  • 5+ years in a multi-unit leadership role
  • Experience overseeing high-volume operations with significant revenue responsibility
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and cost controls
  • Proven ability to develop and retain high-performing teams
  • Experience in upscale, fine dining, or chef-driven concepts is preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
