Step into a leadership role that directly impacts the floor, the kitchen, and the bottom line. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to run a high-volume, scratch-kitchen craft beer restaurant in Schaumburg, Illinois. Your focus in the first 90 days will be to drive operational consistency, strengthen front-of-house and back-of-house collaboration, and elevate the guest experience. This is a role for a practical, business-minded operator who knows how to build a team and protect profitability.


Core Responsibilities

  • Own daily operations, ensuring seamless service across the dining room and a fast-paced scratch kitchen.
  • Manage the P&L, focusing on labor optimization, inventory control, and overall profitability.
  • Build and retain a stable team by actively hiring, training, and coaching managers and hourly staff.
  • Drive guest retention by anticipating needs, addressing feedback quickly, and maintaining uncompromising service standards.
  • Write effective schedules that align with business volume and labor budgets.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and scratch-recipe specifications.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L statements, control costs, and drive revenue.
  • A strong track record of hiring, training, and retaining front-line hospitality talent.
  • Active food safety and manager sanitation certifications (or the ability to secure them immediately).
  • Ability to work a flexible hospitality schedule, including peak dining hours, nights, and weekends.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Direct management experience in a scratch-kitchen operation.
  • A genuine passion for craft beer and elevated casual dining.
  • Familiarity with the Schaumburg market.
