Mixologist / Beverage Experience Leader

Are you the type of bartender who turns every cocktail into a performance?

We're seeking a highly accomplished, creative, and charismatic Mixologist to join one of Ottawa's most exciting upscale hospitality destinations. This is not a traditional bartending role. We're looking for someone who loves being front and center, creating memorable guest experiences, and bringing energy, storytelling, and craftsmanship to every cocktail they serve.

Our ideal candidate is equal parts artist, educator, entertainer, and leader. You understand that exceptional cocktails are only part of the equation—the real magic comes from connecting with guests, sharing the story behind each creation, and creating an experience they can't wait to tell their friends about.

What You'll Do

Design and execute innovative seasonal cocktail menus that drive excitement and repeat business
Create signature beverage programs that distinguish the venue within Ottawa's dining and nightlife scene
Engage guests through cocktail storytelling, tableside interactions, and personalized recommendations
Elevate the overall guest experience by transforming cocktail service into an immersive and memorable event
Train, mentor, and inspire bartenders and service teams on cocktail knowledge, service standards, and beverage sales techniques
Drive beverage revenue through strategic menu development, upselling, and guest engagement
Monitor beverage costs, inventory controls, and program profitability
Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously introduce fresh concepts and experiences
Collaborate with leadership to develop promotions, events, and unique guest experiences

What We're Looking For

Proven success as a high-level Mixologist, Beverage Manager, or Cocktail Program Leader
A natural host with a magnetic personality and exceptional communication skills
Passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences
Deep understanding of classic cocktails, modern techniques, spirits, wine, and beverage trends
Experience building seasonal menus and signature cocktail programs
Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing others
Detail-oriented, creative, and highly organized
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining premium service standards
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growing sales and guest loyalty

Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation package of $100,000 - $120,000+ through a combination of salary and gratuities
