Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities

As Restaurant General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the restaurant and lead from the front. You’ll develop your management team, create a strong culture, and ensure every shift delivers the level of food, service, and hospitality guests expect.

You will:



• Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members
• Build a positive, accountable, high-performing restaurant culture
• Drive sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction
• Manage food, beverage, labor, and operating costs
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, and restaurant financial performance
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain talented team members
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
• Use restaurant performance and financial results to identify opportunities and improve the business
• Create an environment where employees want to stay, grow, and succeed

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Manager experience
• Strong background in high-volume casual or full-service dining
• Proven ability to develop managers and build successful teams
• Solid understanding of P&L, labor, food cost, inventory, and restaurant profitability
• A hands-on leadership style and strong operational instincts
• Passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding guest experience
• Ability to lead with energy, accountability, and consistency
