Title of Position: Assistant Manager 

Job Description: 

The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations while helping ensure consistent service, food quality, cleanliness, and team performance. This role will assist with leading shifts, coaching team members, assigning responsibilities, and keeping the restaurant organized during busy periods. The Assistant Manager will help with training, scheduling support, inventory awareness, basic cost control, and food safety standards. This position will stay active on the floor, support guests, resolve concerns professionally, and help the team deliver an efficient and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will be dependable, energetic, and comfortable leading by example in a guest-facing fast casual environment.

Qualifications: 

• Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience in fast casual, quick service, café, bakery, or hospitality environment 

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and support hourly team members 

• Solid understanding of guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and daily restaurant operations 

• Ability to lead shifts, assign tasks, and maintain organization during busy periods 

• Experience with training, scheduling support, inventory awareness, or basic cost controls preferred 

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and guest recovery skills
