Title of Position: Kitchen Manager/Head Chef Â
Job Description: The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef should fully grasp all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs. Additionally, the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef should ensure that all guests feel they are given responsive, gracious, and considerate service always. Our Kitchen Manager/Head Chef must understand, endorse, and support the mission, vision statement and values of the company as well as support and teach the policies and procedures of the organization. It falls on the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. A professional Kitchen Manager/Head Chef will also be able to make employment and termination decisions, continually endeavoring to develop staff in all areas of professional development. The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef will often work alongside the hands-on ownership to ensure quality service is continuously maintained by all kitchen staff.

Qualifications:Â
- The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree on honesty and integrity
- A minimum of 5 years’ restaurant management experience for a high-volume concept is required for the Kitchen Manager
- Open availability to provide support is a requirement for the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef
- The ability to drive positive sales and raise guest counts is a must for the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef
- The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
- The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef
- High School Diploma or GED
