We are seeking an experienced and charismatic General Manager to lead our upscale restaurant and event concept located in the heart of Bethlehem, PA's thriving arts and culture scene. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth through effective leadership and strategic decision-making.
Our location is a sophisticated dining destination nestled in historic Bethlehem, PA. Our restaurant offers a unique blend of fine dining and event spaces, making it an ideal venue for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. As General Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service and cuisine to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and guest relations
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, increase customer satisfaction, and optimize profitability
- Manage and train a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Coordinate events and catering operations, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties
- Collaborate with the chef and culinary team to develop menus and ensure consistency with brand standards
- Analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability
- Foster strong relationships with local event planners, corporate clients, and community leaders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in an upscale or fine dining setting
- Experience with events and catering, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties
- Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and community partners
