Restaurant General Manager – Queens, NY

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations at a busy fast-casual restaurant in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong operational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a consistent and excellent guest experience.
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor staff to deliver top-quality service and uphold company standards.
Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring compliance with recipes and standards.
Handle inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability, and take action to meet goals.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Implement and oversee operational policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

3+ years of restaurant management experience in a fast-casual or high-volume environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Proven track record in financial management, labor control, and operational efficiency.
Hands-on approach to management and problem-solving.
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
