Restaurant Assistant General Manager – Yonkers, NY

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at a busy fast-casual restaurant in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong operational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to assist in managing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a consistent and excellent guest experience.
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver top-quality service and maintain company standards.
Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards.
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and vendor relations.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Help track financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Support operational policies, procedures, and best practices across the restaurant.

Qualifications:

2+ years of restaurant management experience in fast-casual or high-volume environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Hands-on management style with strong problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
