Your Mission:
As the Catering Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff leadership. Your dual-role responsibilities include leading a creative prepared foods program and ensuring flawless catering execution for all events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations and uphold the highest culinary standards.
- Lead the prepared foods and catering teams with exceptional communication and leadership.
- Order supplies, manage inventory levels, and control food and payroll costs effectively.
- Recruit, train, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Drive menu innovation while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certification from a culinary school is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Business-savvy with a deep understanding of food cost management and team leadership.
