Position Summary:

The Catering Sales Manager will lead efforts to drive catering and event sales, build lasting client relationships, plan and coordinate events, and ensure a seamless experience for guests. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals for catering and events.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business.
  • Manage high-volume sales activities, including prospecting and negotiations.
  • Conduct site tours and client presentations to showcase venue offerings.
  • Coordinate closely with the banquet team to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Prepare detailed banquet event orders to guide operations teams.
  • Attend trade shows, sales events, and community activities to promote the venue.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Utilize creative skills to design innovative event setups and menus.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of catering or event sales experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, event management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with AV equipment and managing it as a profit center is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
