Position Summary:
The Catering Sales Manager will lead efforts to drive catering and event sales, build lasting client relationships, plan and coordinate events, and ensure a seamless experience for guests. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales goals for catering and events.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business.
- Manage high-volume sales activities, including prospecting and negotiations.
- Conduct site tours and client presentations to showcase venue offerings.
- Coordinate closely with the banquet team to ensure smooth event execution.
- Prepare detailed banquet event orders to guide operations teams.
- Attend trade shows, sales events, and community activities to promote the venue.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.
- Utilize creative skills to design innovative event setups and menus.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of catering or event sales experience in a similar environment.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets in a high-volume setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, event management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with AV equipment and managing it as a profit center is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Required Skills:
- Strong sales techniques, including negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Creative thinking for designing unique events and experiences.
