We are seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to join our team at an upscale, artisan pizzeria. The position requires flexibility and availability for evening and night shifts, shaping the dining experience during our busiest hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations: Manage all aspects of operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Coordinate front and back-of-house activities for a seamless service flow.
• Leadership & Team Engagement: Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team. Lead with energy and positivity, creating a supportive environment that motivates staff to deliver exceptional service. Actively resolve team challenges with effective communication and solutions.
• Customer-Focused Service: Create a welcoming and memorable dining experience by engaging with guests, addressing feedback, and fostering a lively yet professional atmosphere. Ensure every guest interaction reflects the brand’s commitment to hospitality.
• Quality & Presentation Standards: Partner with the culinary team to maintain excellence in food preparation, quality, and presentation, ensuring every dish meets the high expectations of our guests.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgets, manage resources efficiently, and analyze P&L statements to align with revenue objectives. Implement strategies to control expenses while maximizing profitability.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce hygiene, health, and safety guidelines rigorously. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and local labor laws at all times.
• Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to secure premium ingredients and operational supplies cost-effectively. Build strong, reliable vendor relationships.
• Problem Solving Under Pressure: Manage nightly challenges with confidence. Instill calm, maintain standards of excellence, and ensure smooth resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing upscale restaurants or high-volume dining establishments, particularly those centered on scratch-made cuisine or artisan dining concepts.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on guest engagement and team collaboration.
• Proven leadership skills, fostering a dynamic and upbeat culture while holding team members accountable.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and relevant labor laws.
• Passion for hospitality paired with a creative and fun approach to creating positive experiences for both guests and staff.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in restaurant management tools and technology.
• Availability to work evening shifts.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous experience with artisan pizza or similar high-quality culinary concepts is a plus.
• Formal training or certifications in hospitality or restaurant management.
