Title of Position: Cook

Job Description: The overall purpose of this job is to ensure high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented in an appealing manner to guests. The Prep Cook sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. The Prep Cook prepares food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage is also the responsibility of the Cook. The Cook cleans and sanitizes Prep Cooking surfaces at the end of the shift, performs inventory checks, and completes food storage logs.

Qualifications:

· The Cook should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation

· Trust, honesty, integrity, and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Cook

· A solid track record of culinary experience is a must for the Cook

· Strong organization skills and attention to detail is required of the Cook

· A high School Diploma or equivalent is required of the Cook.

· Food Handler Certificate and Serve Safe Certificate is preferred for the Cook
