Job Opportunity: Director of Payroll

Are you an experienced payroll professional with a background in large-scale operations? I’m currently seeking a Director of Payroll for a renowned resort located in Las Vegas. This opportunity is ideal for a leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has a strong understanding of payroll intricacies within the hospitality and gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Payroll will oversee and manage all payroll operations while ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations. Responsibilities include:

• Proficiently working with Workforce Management (WFM) systems.
• Managing payroll in alignment with union policies and ensuring compliance with the Gaming Industry Tip Compliance Agreement (GITCA).
• Handling payroll for commissioned employees, including those receiving tips.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• At least 5 years of experience as the head of a payroll department.
• A background in large properties within the Las Vegas Strip casino industry is highly preferred.
• A deep understanding of industry standards and an ability to manage payroll for a diverse and sizable team.

Compensation

This position offers competitive compensation, including:

• Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
• Bonus: Up to 20%
• Sign-On Bonus for the right individual
