Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our upscale dining establishment during its exciting reopening. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining or upscale restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a key leader, you will oversee daily operations, uphold high standards of service and quality, and ensure the successful relaunch of this iconic restaurant in Seal Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, hospitality, and teamwork.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including service, food safety, cleanliness, and ambiance, ensuring consistency with our upscale standards.
- Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and development to maintain a skilled and professional team aligned with fine dining expectations.
- Maintain attention to detail in food presentation, quality, and service standards, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Control costs and optimize operational efficiency through inventory management, scheduling, and budget oversight.
- Implement and uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations in accordance with local laws and fine dining standards.
- Introduce and execute service procedures, protocols, and standards aligned with the upscale brand, especially important during the opening phase.
- Handle guest relations, feedback, and resolution of issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with ownership and executive team on marketing, special events, and promotional activities to enhance the restaurant’s reputation and revenue.
- Drive initiatives to meet and exceed sales goals and service expectations during the re-opening phase and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing upscale or fine dining restaurants, with a proven track record of successful openings and operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example, maintain high standards, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Experience managing P&L, budgeting, cost control, and sales performance.
- Knowledge of upscale dining service procedures, presentation standards, and guest experience management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certified in ServSafe or comparable food safety standards.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Compensation:
- Salary range $68,000 - $75,000 base, plus a 10% bonus package (with 5% guaranteed during the first year).
