Director of Operations

Location: Southern California (multi-market oversight)

Compensation: Up to $150K + Executive Bonus & Full Benefits Package

About the Role:

A rapidly expanding quick-service restaurant (QSR) group specializing in pizza is seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of Operations to lead and scale operations across 30+ locations in three key markets. This is a high-impact, executive-track role for a proven multi-unit leader with the experience and vision to help drive performance and long-term growth.

We’re looking for someone with the potential to evolve into a senior executive within the organization — including C-suite oversight — as we continue our expansion.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with similar titles, such as VP of Operations, Regional Director, Area Director, Multi-Unit Operator, or Senior District Manager within the QSR or high-volume restaurant space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations across a portfolio of 30+ locations
• Develop and coach Area Managers and General Managers to meet KPIs and deliver an outstanding guest experience
• Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership to shape growth strategies, market expansion, and staffing plans
• Analyze store performance metrics and implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, cost control, and profitability
• Drive high standards in food quality, service, cleanliness, and compliance
• Champion a culture of accountability, development, and operational excellence
• Travel regularly across core markets including monthly or bi-monthly visits to Arizona and Texas to provide in-person leadership, training, and support

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in QSR or high-volume multi-unit operations
• Experience managing 20+ locations and leading Area or Regional Managers
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
• Hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing talent and building scalable systems
• Effective communicator who can influence cross-functionally and build trust across all levels
• Must be willing and able to travel regionally, including regular trips to Arizona and Texas
• Experience with pizza or similar fast-paced food service concepts is a plus
