A successful full-service restaurant in Menominee is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead day-to-day operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence. This role works closely with the General Manager to drive team performance and maintain high standards in food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
The ideal candidate has prior restaurant management experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and leads by example with a guest-first mindset. The compensation for this position ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations
- Lead and motivate team members, ensuring proper training and high performance
- Deliver excellent guest experiences by maintaining service and food quality standards
- Monitor food safety, sanitation, and compliance with health department regulations
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Maintain inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost control
- Step into any restaurant role when needed to support smooth operations
- Track key metrics such as payroll, food cost, productivity, and operating expenses
- Address and resolve guest concerns or system breakdowns quickly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, vendors, and service partners
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- High school diploma required; college coursework or relevant certifications a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and customer service best practices
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying trays over short distances
- Frequent bending, reaching, and moving through tight spaces
- Ability to work in environments with heat, cold, steam, smoke, and cleaning chemicals
- Visual and auditory awareness to ensure safety and quality standards
