Title: Membership Director (Private Club)

Location: Washington, DC

Compensation: up to $125,000 + Full Benefits

An exclusive, members-only club in Washington, DC is seeking a polished, service-driven Membership Director to oversee all aspects of member experience and relationship management. About the Role

The Membership Director will serve as the primary point of contact for all member-related matters, from onboarding and renewals to daily engagement and personalized service. The Membership Director is integral to maintaining the club’s prestigious reputation and ensuring a seamless experience for every member and guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the membership program, fostering strong, ongoing relationships with new and existing members
• Oversee the full membership lifecycle: inquiries, applications, onboarding, renewals, and resignations
• Maintain accurate records and preferences using Salesforce CRM
• Act as liaison between members and all departments to ensure high standards of service
• Respond to inquiries and concerns with professionalism, confidentiality, and efficiency
• Collaborate with club leadership and committees on strategic member engagement and retention initiatives
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and communications to support planning and outreach
• Partner with the finance team to ensure accuracy in billing and account management
• Coordinate welcome materials, gifts, acknowledgments, and personalized member touchpoints

Qualifications

• Experience working in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or membership organizations
• Prior exposure to Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI) in a service or relationship management role
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Strong administrative and organizational skills; detail-oriented with high standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Comfortable in a refined, high-expectation environment
