Title of Position: Front Office Manager


Job Responsibilities: Key responsibilities for this role include providing excellent guest services by responding to requests, calls, and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, with follow-up to ensure satisfaction. The candidate will lead the Front Desk team by recruiting, motivating, training, evaluating, and disciplining staff according to company standards, as well as conducting regular performance appraisals. Operational oversight is a critical component, encompassing the supervision of daily Front Desk activities such as Night Audit, cash handling, and reservation processes. Revenue management duties include monitoring room rates, occupancy levels, and daily house counts, while also ensuring accurate billing to maximize no-show revenue. Additionally, the role involves creating staff schedules that align with business forecasts and payroll guidelines. Compliance with company policies is essential, including adherence to credit procedures, key control systems, safety protocols, and managing lost-and-found operations. The candidate will also prepare detailed reports, attend staff meetings, and maintain open communication with other departments. Lastly, a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to VIP guests and addressing their specific needs is required.

Qualifications:


· Experience:


· 5+ years of progressive experience in hospitality or a related field; or


· 2-year degree + 3 years of experience; or


· 4-year degree + 1 year of experience.


· Supervisory background in hotel operations required.


· Proficiency in Windows OS, spreadsheets, and word processing.


· Strong decision-making, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills under pressure.


· Financial literacy and basic arithmetic functions.


· Effective communication and active listening skills.
