Job Description
GENERAL MANAGER | RAPIDLY GROWING FAST-CASUAL BRAND
Lead a Growing Team. Build Your Career.
What if your next General Manager opportunity gave you the leadership responsibility you want without the burnout that comes with it?
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, nationally recognized fast-casual brand that is expanding at an impressive pace—and we’re looking for a strong General Manager to lead their Gainesville, FL location.
With 350+ locations and continued national expansion, this organization offers a proven operating model, strong training, and genuine opportunities for advancement.
Even better? This is a leadership role designed around sustainable restaurant management, with General Managers typically working approximately 40–45 hours per week.
If you're a hands-on leader who loves developing people, running a great operation, and being part of a growing brand, this could be an excellent next step.
What You'll Do
As the General Manager, you'll take ownership of the restaurant's day-to-day performance while building a team and culture that reflects the brand's standards and energy.
You'll be responsible for:
- Lead daily restaurant operations with a hands-on, people-first approach
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members
- Create a positive, high-energy culture focused on teamwork and accountability
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining product quality and consistency
- Manage scheduling, labor, payroll, and staffing levels
- Monitor P&L performance, budgets, and key business metrics
- Oversee food and beverage ordering, inventory, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
- Address guest concerns and provide effective service recovery
- Partner with vendors, the District Manager, HR, and Operations leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and overall restaurant performance
- Step into the operation wherever needed—this is a lead-from-the-front leadership role
What Makes This Opportunity Different
A Career, Not Just a Restaurant Job
This organization is growing quickly, creating real opportunities for high-performing leaders to advance.
A More Sustainable Schedule
General Managers typically work 40–45 hours per week, offering a healthier balance than the 50–60+ hour schedules common throughout the restaurant industry.
A Strong Benefits Package
You'll have access to:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid Time Off
- Performance-based monthly bonus opportunity
- Annual performance review process
- Comprehensive leadership and operational training
- Employee discounts
A Fresh Take on Fast Casual
The concept focuses on fresh, high-quality ingredients in a bright, energetic environment. With blenders, refrigerators, and freezers rather than traditional fryers and grills, it's a different environment from the typical restaurant kitchen.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proven restaurant leader who knows how to build great teams and run a great business.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or retail management experience
- Fast-casual or QSR experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Strong understanding of labor, scheduling, payroll, and restaurant financials
- Experience with inventory, ordering, and cost management
- A genuine passion for guest service
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- The ability to maintain accountability while creating a positive team culture
- Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays based on business needs
You don't need to know the brand coming in. What matters most is your ability to lead people, understand the business, and create consistent operational execution. Comprehensive training is provided to help you succeed.
Why This Could Be Your Next Move
If you're ready to move beyond simply managing shifts and want to join an organization where leadership development, growth, and work-life balance are actually part of the operating model, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
You'll have the resources and support of an established national brand while still having a meaningful impact on your individual restaurant and team.
