Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Sales Manager to join our dedicated team. This role serves as a pivotal part of our management structure, driving revenue growth, building lasting client relationships, and executing successful sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the hospitality industry, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and deliver standout guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
- Design and implement sales plans to maximize revenue across rooms, group bookings, and specialized corporate agreements.
- Identify new markets and opportunities through aggressive prospecting and analysis of industry trends.
- Revenue Generation and Goal Achievement
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning and account management.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor market conditions, ensuring competitive pricing and promotions.
- Drive high-performance results by consistently analyzing sales metrics and adjusting strategies where needed.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships
- Cultivate strong partnerships with local businesses and organizations to secure corporate accounts and repeat group bookings.
- Provide personalized service to clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and fostering client loyalty.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams
- Work closely with the marketing team to align promotional efforts with sales strategies, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
- Partner with operations, front office, and event staff to deliver a seamless guest experience from booking to check-out.
- Leadership and Team Engagement
- Serve as a reliable and inspiring leader, guiding sales associates to perform at their best.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions, maintaining a professional and motivated team driven to achieve results.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotels or event spaces.
- Proven ability to identify and drive new revenue streams.
- Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Strong relationship-building abilities, fostering both team collaboration and client partnerships.
- Proficient in sales tools, CRM systems, and hospitality technology platforms.
- Solid understanding of revenue management principles and market segmentation.
- Ability to create and manage budgets effectively, with a detail-driven approach.
