Banquet Chef – Rogers, Arkansas

Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Banquet Chef in the Rogers area for a New Restaurant Opening! The ideal Banquet Chef is a passionate culinary expert with 3+ years of experience managing upscale banquets and restaurants, who prioritizes quality, community engagement, and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and inspires a positive team environment, promoting respect, kindness, and collaboration to drive exceptional guest experiences
• Oversees and maintains high standards of food and service quality, ensuring consistency across operations
• Drives financial performance through budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic decision-making to maximize profit and mitigate risk
• Sets the standard for health, safety, and cleanliness, while forecasting financial trends to optimize labor, food, and beverage costs

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: up to $90,000

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years current experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale restaurant environment
• High volume background - must have Executive Chef experience in establishments doing over $3 million in sales per year
• Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
• Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
• Executive Chef candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
• Must be able to train out of state for this position
