What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the Front Desk Operations: You’ll set the gold standard for guest service by managing check-ins, check-outs, and everything in between.
- Be the Problem-Solving Guru: Whether it’s a last-minute reservation request or a guest having a less-than-stellar day, you’ll be the one who turns situations into successes.
- Foster Team Excellence: Motivate, train, and guide a team of hospitality professionals who can rival your attention to detail and enthusiasm for great service.
- Manage Scheduling and Rostering: Keep the department running like clockwork, with just the right amount of staff on hand to deliver top-tier service.
- Track Performance Metrics: Use your laser focus and data-stalking skills to monitor guest satisfaction scores and improvement goals.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a supervisory or management role at a reputable hotel, ideally with four-diamond standards or above.
- A hospitality degree or equivalent experience that makes you an established pro in guest relations, team management, and front desk operations.
- Master multitasker who can manage a call, a guest check-in, and a minor team crisis without breaking a sweat.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively inspire your team and reassure guests.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (extra credit if you and OPERA PMS are on a first-name basis).
