Position Title: Restaurant Kitchen Manager

Position Overview:

As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality and safety standards while expertly managing all aspects of food production and service. Your key responsibilities will include inventory control, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and maintaining service and production timelines. You’ll also oversee financial aspects like controlling food costs, managing labor expenses, and maintaining kitchen supplies. This role demands setting strategic operational goals, crafting plans to meet or exceed budget targets, and utilizing kitchen systems and tools effectively—all while ensuring compliance with city and state regulations.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a full-service, moderate to high-volume restaurant

A proven track record of success and a strong career trajectory

Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills

Culinary school training is a plus, but not required

Ability to work 10+ hour shifts and remain on your feet for extended periods

Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, operate kitchen equipment, and adapt to varying temperatures, smoke, steam, or heat in confined spaces
