What You’ll Do
- Lead Culinary Operations: Partner with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring flawless execution of menus across restaurants, banquets, and events.
- Innovate & Inspire: Design seasonal, locally inspired dishes that reflect the resort’s commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients and showcase Olympic Valley’s unique vibe.
- Manage the Team: Train, mentor, and motivate a talented kitchen staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, precision, and creativity.
- Ensure Excellence: Maintain top standards for food quality, presentation, and safety, adhering to all health and sanitation regulations.
- Control Costs: Assist in managing food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships to meet budget goals without compromising quality.
- Elevate Guest Experiences: Collaborate with the F&B team to create memorable dining moments that keep guests coming back.
What You Bring
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- 3+ years in a sous chef or senior culinary leadership role, ideally in a resort, hotel, or high-volume upscale dining environment.
- Expertise in menu development, food preparation, and modern culinary techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a knack for building cohesive teams.
- Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
