What We'll Accomplish Together
As the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee daily operations and drive the success of the property. Your responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise hiring, on boarding, and development of staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace.
- Operational Excellence: Use your expertise in labor metrics, payroll management, and team scheduling to maintain efficiency and optimize performance.
- Guest Experience: Manage guest review responses and implement strategies to achieve high satisfaction scores.
- Revenue Management: Collaborate on sales coordination efforts to improve revenue performance.
- Systems Proficiency: Leverage FOSSE and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to efficiently execute operational tasks.
We're looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong combination of experience, skills, and a passion for excellence. Key qualifications include:
- Prior management experience in a hospitality setting, with Marriott brand experience preferred but not required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and drive a team to success.
- Proficiency in FOSSE, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and a thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including labor metrics and payroll.
- Proven experience in areas such as hiring, onboarding, guest relations, and sales coordination.
Compensation & Benefits
We value your contribution and offer competitive compensation to match your expertise and commitment:
- Salary: $60,000–$68,000 annually,
- Schedule: Enjoy a consistent schedule with Sundays (or another weekend day) typically off.
- Benefits:
- Extended health coverage (50% employer-paid).
- 7 days of PTO annually.
- 5 sick days, in accordance with California law.
