Location: Birmingham, MI (New Projects + National Growth Potential)

Status: Full-Time

Compensation: $95,000 – $100,000 (Based on Experience) + Bonus Potential

We’re seeking a talented and driven Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across our Detroit-based restaurants and future national projects. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on team development, operational excellence, and delivering memorable guest experiences through culinary innovation.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing back-of-house team
  • Oversee daily culinary operations including prep, execution, and kitchen flow
  • Innovate and implement seasonal menus and recipes in collaboration with leadership
  • Manage food and labor costs to meet or exceed budget targets
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Develop and document SOPs for consistency and scalability across locations
  • Collaborate with FOH leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Build strong vendor relationships and maintain accurate inventory and par levels
  • Support financial success through efficient systems, cost controls, and team accountability


What You Bring

  • 4+ years in culinary leadership, preferably in upscale, high-volume kitchens
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire teams in fast-paced environments
  • Creative culinary vision across a range of cuisines
  • Strong grasp of kitchen operations, food costing, and inventory systems
  • ServSafe or Food Handler’s certification required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities is a plus
