Status: Full-Time

Compensation: $75,000 Base + Monthly Bonus ($90,000–$100,000+)

We're hiring a Multi-Unit Leader (Area Director) to lead and develop teams across several Mission BBQ locations in Metro Detroit. This is more than a multi-unit operations role—it’s a chance to serve a greater purpose. As an Area Director, you’ll mentor and inspire servant-hearted General Managers, build strong teams, uphold operational excellence, and drive performance—all while honoring and connecting with the community.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations and team performance across multiple Mission BBQ locations
• Develop, coach, and support General Managers and leadership teams
• Drive results through hands-on leadership and a culture of accountability
• Lead with integrity and humility—no task is too big or too small
• Monitor financial performance, labor, and food cost metrics
• Champion catering and community outreach initiatives
• Model our mission by pausing service each day at noon to honor our heroes with the National Anthem
• Strengthen local partnerships and elevate guest and team experiences

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a multi-unit leader or area director (restaurant industry preferred)
• Deep understanding of operations, leadership development, and financial controls
• A team-first mentality with a passion for coaching and growing others
• Strong connection to our mission of serving those who serve
• Proven success building culture, driving performance, and delivering top-tier service
• Bonus: Experience with catering and community-based events
