Job Description

Conference Services Manager

Location: South Florida | Base: $65,000–$70,000 + Bonus Eligible | Overtime Eligible

This isn’t your typical CSM gig.

If you’re looking for a 9-to-5 desk job with seasonal lulls and predictable days, this isn’t it. But if you thrive in controlled chaos, love being the quarterback behind seamless group experiences, and get a thrill from keeping internal operations running like a machine—read on.

We’re searching for a meticulously organized, systems-savvy professional who can own the internal side of group business from start to finish. Think less hand-holding with clients, more strategic coordination, systems work, and detail-driven execution. You'll be the operational force that turns group contracts into real-world results—flawlessly and fast.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Orchestrating the backend of group events from the moment they’re booked
  • Managing communications across multiple departments without losing your cool
  • Handling billing, auditing, internal reporting, and follow-ups with surgical precision
  • Leveraging Delphi, Opera, and Envision daily (this is not the role to “learn on the job”)
  • Using repeat group data, internal notes, and operational history to streamline delivery
  • Working shoulder-to-shoulder with leadership in a dynamic, high-volume environment

What You Bring:

  • Solid experience in branded hotel environments (Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, etc.)
  • Fluency in Delphi, Opera, and Envision – non-negotiable
  • A love for logistics, structure, and proactive problem-solving
  • The ability to manage cross-department input and run point under pressure
  • Comfort with a 45-hour workweek, overtime eligibility, and occasional variability

What Sets This Role Apart:

  • No slow season — it’s go time, all the time
  • Less client schmoozing, more backend precision and operational command
  • Weekly ownership of internal coordination and group servicing details
  • Strong bonus potential and a clear OT/PTO structure
  • A phased onboarding plan with task force overlap to set you up for success

This role isn’t for everyone. But if you’re someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys running the show behind the scenes, and has the tools to back it up—this could be the best kept secret in South Florida hospitality.
