Title of Position: Banquet Sales & Event Manager


Job Description: The Banquet Sales & Event Manager is responsible for generating new event leads through outbound sales activities like calls, networking, and outreach, while serving as the primary contact for banquet room inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. As the Banquet Sales & Event Manager, you’ll provide personalized site tours of event spaces, create tailored proposals with gameplay, catering, and add-ons, negotiate terms, and finalize bookings to ensure client satisfaction. You’ll prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors, and manage billing requirements. On event days, the Banquet Sales & Event Manager will lead operations, oversee setup, guest flow, and service quality, while addressing any last-minute issues. Post-event responsibilities include gathering client feedback, reviewing billing, finalizing payments, and maintaining client relationships to encourage repeat business. Additionally, the Banquet Sales & Event Manager will support marketing initiatives by promoting events and recommending customizations.

Qualifications


· Proven experience in event management and/or sales, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.


· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with clients and teams.


· Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.


· Capability to thrive under pressure and adapt to on-the-go event dynamics.


· Familiarity with proposals, BEOs, and contract management.


· Knowledge of AV setups, catering operations, or food & beverage management is a plus.
