Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in leading teams across food and beverage operations, front office management, and housekeeping, while simultaneously driving revenue growth and ensuring operational excellence. This leadership role is key to delivering exceptional guest experiences and enhancing the property’s reputation in a competitive market.



Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Food and Beverage Revenue
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize food and beverage sales, including menu innovation, promotions, and upselling techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to ensure outstanding service, consistent product quality, and cost management.
  • Monitor performance metrics and analyze trends to identify growth opportunities within the department.
  • Housekeeping Operations Management
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and consistency adhere to brand and safety standards.
  • Train and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain high efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any repair or upkeep needs expediently.
  • Front Office Oversight
  • Supervise the front office team to deliver seamless check-in, check-out, and guest services.
  • Monitor guest feedback platforms, responding proactively to resolve concerns and improve satisfaction scores.
  • Implement policies and practices to maximize room occupancy and deliver on daily revenue goals.
  • Leadership and Staff Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Host regular training sessions to advance skill sets and maintain compliance with policies and standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide strategic direction to align team efforts with property objectives.
  • Revenue and Budget Management
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to build and manage departmental budgets; oversee cost controls without compromising quality.
  • Track operational KPIs across food and beverage, housekeeping, and the front office to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify new revenue streams and areas of operational improvement to boost overall profitability.
  • Guest Experience Enhancement
  • Serve as a visible leader in the hotel, engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly and professionally.
  • Implement service recovery initiatives that turn challenges into positive guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support promotions and special events targeting guest satisfaction and loyalty.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management, with at least 3-5 years’ involvement in food and beverage, front office, and/or housekeeping operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in driving revenue and delivering results within a high-performance hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel-specific software systems (e.g., PMS, POS, and revenue management tools) is essential.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
