About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Manager with a strong focus on non-alcoholic, beer, liquor, wine, and inventory management. This leadership role is vital in ensuring that our food & beverage operations run efficiently, remain profitable, and deliver an exceptional experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Program Oversight:
- Curate an exceptional selection of beer, liquor, and wine to align with current trends and customer preferences.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with staff to create featured beverage offerings and pairings.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for all food & beverage, ensuring availability without overstock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Utilize inventory management software to track usage, minimize waste, and maximize profitability.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and local alcohol distribution laws.
- Guarantee adherence to health and safety regulations regarding storage and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Train staff on responsible service and compliance requirements.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor food & beverage cost percentages and create strategies to optimize profitability.
- Develop pricing structures that balance value with revenue growth.
- Prepare and analyze monthly inventory and sales reports.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage the Food & Beverage team, with a focus on skill-building and knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
- Foster a team culture centered around guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Schedule staff effectively to meet the needs of busy service periods and events.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably with a focus on alcohol service.
- Extensive knowledge of beer, liquor, and wine, including trends and service techniques.
- Proven track record in inventory management and cost control.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications:
- Alcohol service and safety certifications, such as TABC or ServSafe Alcohol preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
