Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven General Manager to lead the daily operations of our Boston area location. This role is perfect for an experienced leader with a deep appreciation for fine food and hospitality, and a strong track record of managing teams in a high-end retail or café environment. The General Manager will be responsible for driving sales, fostering a customer-first culture, and overseeing all operational aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail and café staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and cleanliness
  • Ensure all products and services meet our high standards for quality and presentation
  • Hire, train, and develop team members; conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
  • Monitor financial performance and manage P&L, budgets, and cost controls
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to align local strategies with overall brand goals
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and passion in the local community

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in retail, hospitality, or foodservice
  • Passion for artisan chocolate, fine foods, and luxury customer experiences
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management style
  • Proven ability to drive sales and manage budgets
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
