Job Summary

We are seeking a high-energy, customer service-focused Event Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of catering operations for our innovative downtown venue. The ideal candidate will excel in planning and executing events, managing catering teams, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role is pivotal in delivering seamless, high-quality catering services for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, all while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all catering operations, including planning, execution, and post-event evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients to design customized menus and event experiences in partnership with the culinary team.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performance catering team, prioritizing employee engagement and development.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered, creating memorable experiences for event clients and guests.
  • Manage event logistics, including staffing, equipment, and resource allocation, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain budgets, control expenses, and drive revenue growth while upholding quality standards.
  • Partner with marketing teams to promote catering services and secure new business opportunities.
  • Uphold health and safety standards throughout all catering operations.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Catering Manager, Event Manager, or similar leadership role in catering or event planning.
  • Strong background in event coordination, menu planning, and client relationship management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of high-end food and beverage services, including VIP and luxury event offerings.
  • Experience with large-scale event logistics and operations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
