Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations at our Dixon location. The ideal candidate will thrive in an upscale environment, ensuring top-tier food quality, efficient kitchen management, and a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and compliance with health/safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Develop and execute menus that align with our upscale concept, emphasizing fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction to meet financial targets.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle scheduling, vendor relations, and equipment maintenance.
  • Uphold our commitment to sustainability through eco-friendly practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of California cuisine trends, food safety regulations (ServSafe certification preferred), and cost control.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
