Manager, Leave Administration
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary Range: $80,000 to $91,000 plus 5% bonus
Department: People
Reports To: Executive Director of People

We are looking for a service-focused, technically capable leader with strong verbal communication skills to take ownership of our Leave Administration function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping others, understands the importance of compliance, and is comfortable handling sensitive issues with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for all leave-related questions and requests, providing support with warmth, clarity, and accuracy
- Administer and manage leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific regulations in full compliance with current laws and company policies
- Maintain and improve tracking systems and leave management software to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Work closely with People leadership and department managers to resolve leave-related matters quickly and effectively
- Analyze leave data and trends, creating reports that inform leadership and drive continuous improvement
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to educate team members and managers on leave policies and expectations
- Supervise and mentor a Leave Administration Specialist with a focus on delivering exceptional service
What You Bring
- A strong service orientation and desire to support employees through personal and professional challenges
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak confidently and clearly in both one-on-one and group settings
- Technical proficiency in leave administration software, Microsoft Office, and especially Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
- At least 4 years of experience managing leave processes in a complex or large-scale environment, preferably hospitality or resort-based
- Solid understanding of FMLA, ADA, and applicable state and federal leave laws
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR, SHRM, or CCP certification is preferred but not required
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
