Position Overview

The Front of House Restaurant Manager will lead day-to-day dining room operations, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with culinary leadership to execute flawless service, manage financial goals, and create a positive, professional environment for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, and banquet services.
• Partner with chefs and culinary leadership on menu planning, events, and service execution.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and quickly resolve any service concerns.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and control labor/food costs.
• Foster a safe, professional, and engaging environment for employees.
• Train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house staff to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant management experience.
• In-depth wine knowledge and strong front-of-house service expertise.
• Proficiency in cost controls, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Skilled in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to lead by example with professionalism, energy, and attention to detail.
