General Manager — Family Events Center (Southern Illinois)
RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED!
We’re seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a 40,000 sq ft Family Events Center. This role oversees all day-to-day operations, F&B, attractions, events, and guest services to deliver best-in-class experiences while driving revenue and profitability.
Compensation and benefits:
- $85,000 base salary + bonus opportunities

Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and schedule a high-performing team across operations, F&B, and events
- Ensure service standards, safety, cleanliness, and compliance (health, liquor, and labor)
- Optimize P&L: labor, COGS, inventory controls, and vendor management
- Own F&B quality and speed of service during peak periods and large-format events
- Implement SOPs, training, and performance metrics to raise operational excellence
- Forecast, plan, and execute promotions, group sales, and community partnerships
- Resolve guest issues promptly; monitor reviews and guest satisfaction scores
Qualifications:
- 5+ years managing F&B operations in high-volume event spaces, restaurants, or entertainment centers
- Proven leadership, staffing, and training success (low turnover, strong retention)
- Strong financial acumen and systems proficiency (POS, scheduling, inventory)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills
