Location: Southwest Florida

This is not your typical back-of-house leadership role. We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager who thrives on organized chaos, finds joy in building structure out of momentum, and leads by rolling up their sleeves. This role is about more than keeping the wheels turning. It’s about creating a kitchen where people love to work, where standards don’t slip when the heat is on, and where the team feels supported to deliver exceptional food every night.


What You’ll Do


  • Own the daily rhythm of the kitchen, from prep to close.
  • Keep the back-of-house humming by balancing food quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Manage inventory, orders, and vendor relationships to ensure the kitchen never misses a beat.
  • Build schedules that align labor with demand while protecting profitability.
  • Step into service and lead by example during peak hours—expo, line, or wherever you’re needed.
  • Train, mentor, and hold the team accountable to high standards without micromanaging.
  • Partner closely with a skilled sous chef and FOH leadership to keep the operation seamless.
  • Anticipate and eliminate bottlenecks before they become fires.


What We’re Looking For


  • A calm, steady leader who inspires trust and respect.
  • Hands-on experience running a high-volume, full-service kitchen (ideally in the $3–4M range).
  • A track record of controlling food and labor costs in unpredictable conditions.
  • Strong grasp of kitchen math, scheduling, and vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to work evenings (dinner service) and mornings as needed for deliveries and prep.
  • Knowledge of authentic cuisine and classic cooking methods is a plus.
  • Someone who thrives on collaboration, not command-and-control.
