Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Executive Sushi Chef in Bentonville, Arkansas. Responsibilities:
- Provides strong leadership, mentorship, and motivation to the kitchen team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence
- Recruits, develops, and retains a talented culinary staff while achieving or exceeding business objectives
- Creates and curates distinctive sushi dishes, offering guests a wide variety of elevated selections
- Innovates and sets culinary trends, enhancing the overall dining experience with unique and memorable presentations
- Serves as a role model with exceptional culinary expertise, deep knowledge of sushi, and refined cuisine awareness
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: up to $90,000

Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years current experience as an Executive Chef; Sushi experience is required in order to be considered for this position
- High volume background; must have Executive Sushi Chef background in restaurants doing over $2-3 million in sales
- Excellent knife skills in deboning and fileting fish such as Salmon or other similar fish; superb ability with the sashimi knife
- Comprehensive experience developing and delivering training on sushi and Japanese food
- Outstanding oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Extensive understanding of food health and sanitation standards, kitchen safety standards, and developing and implementing compliance programs
- Must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
