Position Summary:

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is committed to providing a high-quality, value-driven dining experience with friendly, efficient, and accurate service in a clean and safe environment. This role oversees all business activities at a single restaurant location, including:

  • Providing an exceptional guest experience.
  • Achieving sales goals and managing expenses.
  • Creating a positive work environment that fosters team engagement and growth.

The RGM typically supervises an Assistant Manager and/or Shift Leaders, with the number of direct reports varying by location.


Primary Responsibilities:


  1. Deliver a Superior Guest Experience:
  • Ensure friendly, quick, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for dine-in and drive-thru guests.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly using a professional approach.


  1. Lead and Develop the Team:
  • Recruit, hire, and train team members.
  • Provide clear job expectations, regular feedback, and opportunities for growth.
  • Identify and develop high-potential team members for leadership roles.


  1. Maintain Brand Standards, Cleanliness, and Safety:
  • Ensure the restaurant meets safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Conduct daily facility checks and address any issues promptly.
  • Implement and follow cleaning schedules to maintain high standards.


  1. Achieve Sales Goals:
  • Drive sales through effective in-store promotions and up-selling techniques.
  • Review sales reports and implement action plans to meet targets.


  1. Control Operations and Expenses:
  • Manage labor schedules and operating costs to align with budgets.
  • Ensure cash handling, inventory, and reporting procedures are followed.
  • Maintain organized records and respond promptly to correspondence.


  1. Manage Inventory and Equipment:
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet guest demand, while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure proper storage, food safety, and regular maintenance of equipment.


  1. Other Duties:
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Manager or higher in the fast-food industry, including drive-thru operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Basic PC skills and familiarity with business reporting.
  • Must pass a background check and possess a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $48,000 - $55,000 per year
