Job Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Sous Chef or similar leadership role, preferably within a high-volume catering or fine-dining environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • A creative approach to menu planning and execution.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, from menu creation and food preparation to final execution at events.
  • Lead kitchen staff during off-site catering events, ensuring seamless service and exceptional food quality.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food costing to maintain budget and minimize waste.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of new and exciting menu items that align with our brand's vision.
  • As a key member of the team, the Sous Chef / Catering Chef will be instrumental in delivering memorable culinary experiences across various locations in Delaware.
