Assistant Chef – North Miami Beach

This isn’t just another back-of-house role. We’re looking for an Assistant Chef who brings both culinary skill and leadership energy to a fast-paced, guest-driven environment. The right person will be as comfortable on the line as they are teaching, mentoring, and shaping a team.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Chef to lead daily operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and efficiency in every service.
• Train, coach, and inspire back-of-house staff—building a team that’s sharp, motivated, and proud of what they put on the plate.
• Take ownership of quality control, from checking in product to the final presentation leaving the pass.
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly by balancing prep, production, ordering, and labor management.
• Bring a solutions-focused mindset when challenges come up—whether it’s timing, training, or guest satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• A hands-on leader with proven kitchen experience in high-volume or polished casual settings.
• Someone with high standards who takes pride in both consistency and creativity.
• A calm, composed presence who thrives under pressure and brings out the best in the team.
• ServSafe or Food Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
