Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of current experience as a salaried Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Proven ability to manage and control food costs, labor, and other kitchen-related expenses.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of hiring, training, and developing a high-performing kitchen team.
  • A passion for culinary excellence and a hands-on management style.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards for quality and consistency.
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, and supplier relationships.


Job Responsibilities

The Head Chef/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for all back-of-house operations, leading the team to produce high-quality, consistent food while managing costs effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all kitchen operations to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Managing inventory, controlling food costs, and handling all ordering and receiving.
  • Recruiting, training, and scheduling kitchen staff to build a cohesive and efficient team.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Collaborating with management on menu development and special culinary projects.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional work environment for all kitchen staff in our Philadelphia, PA location.
