Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Boutique Hotel General Manager to lead our team and uphold the exceptional standards of our unique property. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. This role is pivotal in driving profitability while ensuring the delivery of a personalized, memorable guest experience that aligns with our distinct brand identity. The General Manager will cultivate a positive and productive work environment, mentor staff, and ensure seamless daily operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Direct and manage all daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services. Ensure all departments operate efficiently and in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Staff Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and empowerment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to ensure staff development and engagement.
  • Guest Experience & Satisfaction: Champion a guest-centric culture, ensuring every guest receives personalized and attentive service. Proactively address and resolve guest concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor guest feedback through reviews and surveys, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Financial Performance & Profitability: Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget, financial plans, and sales strategies. Oversee revenue management, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability and achieve financial targets. Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Brand Integrity & Marketing: Serve as the primary brand ambassador, ensuring the hotel's unique character and aesthetic are consistently maintained and promoted. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute initiatives that enhance brand visibility and attract our target clientele.
  • Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure the property is impeccably maintained and complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Oversee preventative maintenance programs to protect hotel assets and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role, preferably within a boutique or luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of successful financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving revenue.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience in mentoring and developing staff at all levels.
  • A profound commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and creating unparalleled guest experiences.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
