Position Title: General Manager

Location: Lincoln City, Oregon, United States

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD annually

Position Summary:

The General Manager plays a key leadership role in driving the vision and ensuring that core values are upheld across all operations. Reporting to the Director of Restaurant Operations, this position oversees the day-to-day operations of a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The General Manager will be accountable for the following (but not limited to):

  • Inspire and motivate the team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Foster creativity and adaptability to embrace new initiatives and changing conditions.
  • Instill a passion for excellence and high standards within the team.
  • Develop and implement written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in quality and service.
  • Cultivate a service culture that creates memorable experiences for guests.
  • Work independently while maintaining open communication and seeking support when needed.
  • Lead by example, setting a standard that others aspire to follow.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent.
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses and community partners.
  • Demonstrate a deep commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Exhibit strong business and financial acumen, including expertise in reports, budgets, and cost control.
  • Champion team development and foster a positive work environment.
  • Address challenges and have candid conversations with team members when necessary.
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable all members of the management team, including the Executive Chef.
  • Actively participate in community projects and represent the company as a positive advocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of management experience in the food and beverage service industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and health codes.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage operating costs within budgetary constraints.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods (at least 9 hours).
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and squatting to handle stock and equipment.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfort working in an environment with loud noises, fumes, odors, dust, and smoke.

Salary: Starting at $75,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
