Job Qualifications
To be considered for the Front of House Restaurant Manager position in Dallas, Texas, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-volume restaurant operations (at least $5M in sales)
- Prior management experience in an upscale or fine dining setting.
- Proven track record in retail sales, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Hands-on experience with hiring, training and developing hourly employees.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software for scheduling and operational tasks.
Job Responsibilities
As the Front of House Restaurant Manager in Dallas, Texas, your key responsibilities will include:
Guest Services:
- Deliver an honest commitment to world-class service.
- Manage guest interactions, ensuring exceptional experiences from reservations to departure.
- Oversee seating arrangements and handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Staff Leadership:
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of the front-of-house team.
- Cultivate an atmosphere of integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Schedule staff effectively to balance labor costs and operational needs.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Ensure seamless collaboration with back-of-house staff for flawless service delivery.
- Collaborate with General Manager and Managing Partner on budget development and profit management.
Retail Oversight:
- Manage the ordering, inventory, and merchandising of retail items.
- Implement effective strategies to optimize retail sales performance.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing private dining experiences and special events.
