About the Company / Opportunity
A premier beachfront resort in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join its growing sales team. This role will focus on driving hotel revenue through group, corporate, and leisure sales while building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive room revenue through corporate, group, and leisure segments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel planners, and travel partners to generate repeat business.
- Conduct sales calls, prospecting outreach, and networking within the local and regional markets.
- Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the property.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and production goals.
Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and prospective clients.
- Conduct property tours and presentations for potential clients and partners.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure a positive experience.
- Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat bookings and brand loyalty.
Account Management & Strategy
- Manage existing accounts while actively growing new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to identify sales opportunities.
- Develop targeted sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue during need periods.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to ensure competitive and strategic pricing.
Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate account records, sales activity reports, and pipeline updates within the CRM system.
- Track production and booking pace to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
- Assist with sales forecasts and reports for leadership review.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements comply with company policies and procedures.
